01 / The Salon Sponsorship Fund

Bring a Kalos Salon to your community.

See what you hear. Live music, living light, and the stories behind each piece. Shared together in one room.

A Kalos Salon invites 75–150 guests to listen more deeply. Five professional musicians perform original music inspired by faith and open to every listener. The setting is intimate, unamplified, and free from screens between performers and audience.

As each piece unfolds, Chroma—a real-time lighting system developed by composer Gustav Hoyer—responds to the instruments with color and light. Gustav introduces the stories behind the music, and guests can meet the musicians afterward. A host opens the room, ticket sales help pay the musicians, and sponsors make travel and touring possible.

Three Partners, One Evening

Ways to give an evening

Each sponsorship level is tied to a real cost of bringing a Salon to a community. Gifts may be directed to a city you care about.

  1. 01 Seat Sponsor — $350 Underwrite ten tickets for students, caregivers, or guests of a partner organization. Recognition: Name in the evening's program.
  2. 02 Evening Sponsor — $900 Cover a host's share of travel for one Salon when two Salons share a regional trip. Recognition: Acknowledgment from the stage and in the program, plus four reserved seats.
  3. 03 Regional Tour Sponsor — $1,800+ Cover travel for a two-Salon regional visit: about $1,800 where a musician lives, or $3,600–$4,500 elsewhere, itemized in advance. Recognition: Named presenting sponsor in all promotion, eight reserved seats at each Salon, and a reception with the musicians.
  4. 04 Season Patron — $5,000+ Support artistic direction, the lighting system's development and touring upkeep, and a reserve so Salons can go where they are needed most. Recognition: Season-long acknowledgment and a private Salon conversation with the composer.

Travel figures are planning estimates based on 2026 Salons. Sponsors receive an itemized budget and a report afterward. For a tailored proposal, contact Gustav Hoyer .
