My artistic journey is rooted in a lifelong search for transcendent beauty, a pursuit sparked by the writings of C.S. Lewis, specifically his memoir Surprised by Joy. In my creative practice, I have long sought out 'glimpses of joy' and ethereal beauty in the art of others, using those moments of wonder as a catalyst for my own work. As a composer, I view my craft as the sacred process of translating the ethereal—what I imagine and audiate—into a profound communal experience on stage.
