Host an Evening of Encounter
Most concerts ask an audience to watch. A Kalos salon asks them to listen, and gives them a room where that is possible: five professional musicians, original chamber music, light that moves with the sound, and a reception where the composer and performers meet your guests.
We have brought this evening to Souderton, Pennsylvania, and to Loveland and Denver, Colorado. We are looking for the next communities to share it with.
A Partnership in Three Parts
You open the room. A good piano, seating for 75–150 close to the performers, lighting you can dim, and space for a reception.
You help bring the musicians. Hosts contribute toward the ensemble's travel: airfare, lodging, and ground transport. We send an itemized estimate before you commit and a reconciliation afterward. When two hosts in a region share a touring window, each carries half. Contributions to the Kalos Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 92-2740649), are tax-deductible.
Your community fills the seats, and their tickets pay the musicians. Personal invitation fills these rooms more than any advertisement. Every ticket sold goes toward fair pay for five professional performers.
What We Bring
- The full five-member ensemble, led by internationally acclaimed violinist Teimuraz Janikashvili
- About 65 minutes of original music by Gustav Hoyer, with brief spoken introductions
- The real-time lighting environment, set up and run by the ensemble
- Online ticketing through kalosarts.org, and local advertising for your evening
- A post-concert reception with the composer and musicians

- A high-quality piano — concert grand preferred; a professional-quality upright may be considered
- Seating for 75–150 in an intimate configuration, with dimmable lighting and acoustics suited to unamplified chamber music
- A contribution toward travel, based on an itemized estimate
- A personal-invitation plan for your community: email lists, congregations, friends, and colleagues
- Local logistics: parking, access, and reception setup
