My desire as a Christian artist - a professional pianist who has placed my trust in Jesus - is to marry the knowledge of the Truth with a high level of musical skill in my interactions with others in the world and in the church. As I teach, write about creating a life in music, collaborate with other musicians, and present concerts, I want the world to be drawn to the beauty of Jesus in me; I want them to see the excellence and creativity and glory of the Lord through my music. I want the church to be drawn to the beauty of my playing so they will recognize that stewarding one’s gifts well in the service of the King is our appropriate response to what He has given us. As Colossians 3:17 says, “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” (NKJV)
